Sanyo Parts
Sanyo Electric was founded in Osaka in 1947 by Toshio Iue and made consumer electronics, batteries and semiconductors. It became a Panasonic subsidiary in 2009, and its semiconductor business went to ON Semiconductor. Sanyo Denki, maker of San Ace fans, is a separate company.
The Sanyo parts here are PNP bipolar transistors, including high-voltage and power types, metallized polyester film capacitors, and San Ace cooling fans, which are Sanyo Denki products.
How to spot one: Japanese transistor numbers often drop the 2S prefix on the body, so A1370 is a 2SA1370 and B1136 is a 2SB1136. 2SA parts are high-frequency PNP and 2SB parts are audio-frequency PNP.
