This bearing is useful in the application of a linear shaft that does not see much side force. This is because the structure of this bearing is not designed to withstand large amounts of force.
It is most often used in the application of mechanical and small-scale robotics that are subject to light to moderate forces, such as the steering mechanism of a small vehicle.
It is not recommended to use this bearing in an application requiring a large amount of side force, such as a direct drive wheel.
