Fuji Electric Parts
Fuji Electric was founded in 1923 as a partnership of Furukawa Electric and Siemens; the name joins Fu from Furukawa and Ji from Siemens. It makes power semiconductors, drives, servo systems and industrial instruments.
The Fuji Electric parts here are C3866 silicon power transistors in TO-220F full-pack cases and FALDIC AC servo amplifiers.
How to spot one: Japanese transistors often drop the 2S from the body marking, so a part marked C3866 is a 2SC3866, an NPN part. A TO-220F case is fully molded, so its tab is insulated and needs no mica washer on the heat sink.
